Dr. Barbara Thompson earned her psychology degree at Tennessee State University, her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Meharry Medical College — following in her father's footsteps — and earned her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at Howard University.
In 2026, when her father retired after decades of caring for this community, the whole office became Thompson Pediatric Dentistry — the family's second generation of dentistry on the very same corner.
