Yes — Thompson Pediatric Dentistry welcomes children with special healthcare needs, from sensory sensitivities to complex medical and developmental conditions, with visits built around each child.

• You tell us what works. Before the first visit, we ask about sensory sensitivities, communication preferences, triggers, and comfort objects — and we build the visit around your answers.
• Pacing without pressure. Early visits can be short and goal-light: meet the team, sit in the chair, touch the mirror. Progress at your child's speed counts as success.
• Sensory-aware environment. Quieter rooms, dimmed lights on request, distraction and comfort items, and a team trained in patience.
